Usually I avoid hinting to what site features I'm implementing or improving to keep updates surprises. However, I want to make sure I get this one right. I would really like everyone's opinion on the current homepage. Please, tell me what you like, what you don't, and what you flat out hate.

Also, I want to hear what you prefer in a homepage. What content do you want to see on XboxAmerica's homepage? What content do you think doesn't deserve to be on the homepage? References to other sites would be appreciated to help me better understand. Ideas on how to graphically improve the appearance are always welcome as well.

Okay, so you're content with the current homepage.

Personally, I think the homepage is fairly bland, and the boxes slightly annoy me. As for content, I would like to implement a poll on the homepage.

You could make the box holding the top five leaders vertical, and move it left or right on the page, and then drop the poll in the other slot......

I think a little more color - everything looks so GREY!

Also, I have always liked the little bubble pop-up thing that appears when you hold the cursor over the title of a thread and it gives you a preview of first post. The main page doesn't have that, but in the forum area I think it does.

I agree completely about the color.

As for the bubble pop up, we thought about that, but made the hover show the thread title when the thread titles would be shortened severely at times. Now I think would be a good time to change that though... I believe the code is still in place, it just needs to be uncommented.
