hope your uncle isn't a gamer or he's screwed. plasma is not a gamming tv if anything stays on the screen for like 15 mins then it buns onto it even if it is your DVD player and it says DVD and you walk away. thats why you get bigger plasma TVs cheaper than LCDs and other types

no hes less of a gamer than me. and the last time i actually played 360 was yesterday but it took me 22 days to even log on.

he mostly watches movies.

tell him to watch out for cannels like tbs and crap like that that has the station symbol in the corner trust me it hurts the TV

Burn-ins are not much of a problem anymore. They were a major with the first plasmas but not anymore. There's also plenty of things you can do to prevent them. I'm definitely not a definitive source of TV knowledge; However, I was under the impression plasmas and gaming are a good match because of how well plasmas display motion.

1080p is the best. The difference between 1080p and 1080i is 1080p is progressive while 1080i is interlaced. Its hard to explain so I'll just keep it simple, 1080p is the best possible HD output.

i have a Wii! don't play it much tho i did ask for super mario galaxy so i will actually have a good game to play it on
