Anyone have any tips on beating Green Grass and High Tides on expert? I've tried about 600 times and I always fail at the end of the second solo either at the zigzag pattern or the continous yellow-blue-orange pattern.

I had trouble with medium for a while. When I beat my first song on expert (Hit me with your best shot on GH III
) I started bragging to all my friends. lol

Well, it took me only a few tries, but what i suggest is, im assuming your failing at the long zigzags in solo 2, so just save all your overdrive till your at the very very bottom and your about to fail, but dont fail of course. Then when your get to the next phrase where u can get more overdrive, whammy that and you can get enough so u can activate on the second set of zigzags.
If you can get past the zigs, the rest isnt all that hard

Well Greg actually beat it for me, but I did go back and beat it myself, but I would save all your SP and PRACTICE those zig-zag's. That was my problem, I couldn't get the zig-zags, so I would use SP in them then fail at zig-zag #2 or the ending OBY, OBY over and over. But of course Greg has no problem with zig-zags, he FC'd solo C in Freebird. So naturally Greg beat GGAHT on his sightread both for himself and when he did it for me.

Do this: burn your Overdrive as SOON as the hard sh*t starts in the first part of the second solo. That way, you'll be out of Overdrive in time to pass 2 more phrases and be able to trigger Overdrive a second time when the zig-zag #2 comes up.
