I don't think Raine is purposefully picking sides or anything, its just that Nick always gets into shit and she tries to be the voice of reason, or at least that's how it comes off to me.

Pardon me for interrupting this slug-fest, I try to stay as far away from topics that degrade to this as possible, but come on folks, is it really necessary to turn a friendly tournament into this? TK is correct, this should have ended Saturday night; perhaps the tournament threads should be closed and locked prior to the tourney so that this does not happen, which is quite a sad actuallity.
I joke around with everyone I play with; yea, I do get pissed if my head explodes when I don't expect it, or I get chopped into bits by a bullshit chainsaw that manages to walk through several shotgun blasts, but I'm not going to go into a thread and call out the person that is doing it. Next match, I'm going to sneak up behind the person with the sniper and frag tag them, next match I'm going to chainsaw the person first. You cannot honestly sit here and say certain people should not use certain weapons, because that is just stupid. If you are playing a game against someone who is better than you, get better at it than them. If you're going to piss and moan about it, then cancel your Xbox Live membership.
I seriously think the maturity level of this site has dropped a notch; I didn't chime in here to point fingers or sort through who started what. Looking at this thread as a third party, and being a member in attendance at the tourney, I just have to express my disappointment with the childishness I am seeing. I expect this level of stuff from random idiots I get matched up with, not from members of a community as closely knit as our's. TK is kind enough to take the time to set up tournaments such as this, which, speaking from experience, is no small task, even offering his own bought prizes and asking nothing from the board in return. If nothing else we are spitting in his face by taking something pretty cool and turning it into this.

hey, everybody wants to win/ no one likes to lose but the fact is some people are going to be better than others at a particular game or pretty much anything in life depending on how much time they put in and how fast their skill increases. i haven't played gow for almost 2 years so i go into it with the attitude that i'm gonna be playing against better players with more experience and i'm gonna get my ass kicked a bit but that's fine (as long as i kick a little along the way too) it's a game and it's meant to be fun. bottom line is don't complain about someone because they're beating you, just give them a compliment, learn from your mistakes, and try to kill the little bastard next time!
oh, and try to have fun while doing it.

if it was for this topic, then you shouldnt ban raine. i brought up everyone who was taking about scream and his sniper (kinda jokingly, but it can get irritating sometimes) so you shouldnt blame her for starting anything (if its about this topic anyways, cause it was me)
whatever, this topic should be locked anyways...
i say the next tourny topic (and for future ones) should be open to decide on a game, and then left open for two days so people can make comments on it (like congrats to whoev the winner is, any comments on who did something exceptionally awesome, etc) and then locked...
