i'm just ready for gears 2 i was a huge fan like when it came out i know i put so many hours into gears but no the kills don't count and if you're in a ranked game and it drops to 5 people the kills don't count either which blows.. i need a few achievements still.. i never played insane.. but oh well i'm pumped for gears2

Your kills don't count in ranked matches (toward the achievements) if you don't get halfway through the match. I.E. if you are playing 12 rounds and 3 people quit before the 6th round, you don't get any kills toward your achievements. They count on the leaderboard though. You have to get to the middle round with at least 6 people. If the host quits early your S.O.L.
If you want to play gears with respawns, play annex. Hope this helps!!
