true, i loved playing tomb raider for the ps1 i loved those games.
i dont see anything wrong with girls rescuing the guys, i dont have an ego problem with that lol

While playing as a female character would be sweet, Can you really see an overly macho game like gears of war including a female playable character? Or any character that isn't an overly steroid enhanced meat head?

Trust me, i know girls play games, i'm just not so sure that Epic know that. The characters of Gears were an excessive testosterone-fest, A female character would be a breath of fresh air, but I just don't see it happening.

yea i get what ur saying.

then there is the fact that most girls dont really like to see blood all over their screen after u hack up your opponent with a chainsaw wielding assault rifle.
im not trying to say that all girls are squeamish, but u have to admit that sadly most girls are.

I know we have a few others but they're not very active. I can't remember their usernames.

Edit: The system is showing a total of 52 people who've specified themselves as girls. There's probably plenty more that haven't setup their profile.

After Nightmare Studios made the Gears of War armor and drove down to Epic's studios to show the devs, one of their female employees started working on a slightly lighter version that could fit a female's body. She ended up wearing it for some photos shoots and they informally wrote up a story behind it, how due to their arguably better abilities at sniping and scouting without starting crap, she would serve as Light Recon for a fireteam or sniper.

They don't have the female Gears of War-type suit in their portfolio, but it was very similar to this "Skygirl Armor" one.
