Games for the summer

Well, the Halo 3 beta ends really soon, and my summer starts in just a couple days. I'd like to pick up a game or two to play over the summer. Anyone have any ideas? Assassin's Creed and Halo 3 are the only games I've been following right now, and they aren't released until September.

Good suggestion. I'm going to try and download the demo that was supposed to come out today.

I have Shadowrun for both PC and 360 and this game is pretty good once you learn how to play and utilize all the features. If you go into it like a Halo 2 multi player you will get slaughtered. Take the tutorials and learn to play, it makes it pretty fun.
FYI it utilizes the Halo 2 waiting room, so it should be familiar to everyone.

After playing the demo, I thought Shadowrun was fun but not fun enough to spend $60 on a multiplayer only game. If there had been a nice full campaign I probably would have bought it.

I think I'm just going to play Forza, revist some of my older games, and get C&C 3 for Mac next month. That should be enough to tide me over until September when all the good games come out.

Timeshift looks like the F.E.A.R. killer. I liked how they kind of changed the look of the game with the whole dark gritty atmosphere that we've seen in games like gears and condemned. The rain effects look awesome like CoD4's.
