I really liked Primus' version of Devil Went Down, but that's me.

I don't know why you guys are hatin' so bad, I mean at worst case it's another fun rhythm game to play fake guitar to. If they add support for drums and vocals, and through some act of Shaak-Ti the Rock Band stuff is compatible, then it would be very very cool. That seems like wishful thinking on my part though so I'll shut up.

But seriously, as lame as it is I'm still going to rent GH: Aerosmith just because it's some new colored dots to destroy in button-mashing zen, so whatever comes after that couldn't be any worse right?

And if they do create a keytar peripheral like they've been threatening, it's game over man. Game over. I will take over the world with a keytar. Just think of the possibilities!!

I think the Hateraid is coming from the fact that a game called Guitar Hero is now branching into other instruments after watching the developer they dumped have mega success with Rock Band.

It just has that feel of a desperate attempt to rip off an idea that is better than the stale product they have made GH into IMO...

Even though it is GUITAR hero i think there is one strong reason this is better

Red octane and activision can make better, reliable, and stronger instruments than the PIECE OF SHIT drums and guitar that rock band makes. So if Red Octane makes drums I'll never play rock band drums again because i think Red octane can make better insruments

I'm seriously considering trading in GH2 and GH3 for something else (maybe towards GTA4?) Rock Band has really impressed me with with WEEKLY DLC and the fun of the game. Guitar Hero WAS the tip of the music game genre.
