I don't have a problem with MP achievements all together Just make them Player matches that you can have 2 people do or make them so you can get them with multiple controllers or on one console. 0 point achievements I'm fine with too even tho they are stupid. Glitched achievements should be fixed on spot and not put off on the back burner to either be fixed way late or not at all (I just got really ticked off at Spyglass Board Games because I'm missing one achievement that I SHOULD have had and got with another account but not my account 195/200) Oh and another thing I'm sick of is EA shutting down servers to old games like Tiger Woods 06 and Def Jam and making those multiplayer achievements unattainable (EDIT: Just read that the DEF JAM servers are apparently still up). Sorry for the rant lol

Rant on Spider! Its good! I guess I'm not totally against the MP achievements, its just some of them are silly like the 6 people for 200 matches in a game that no one plays (see Legendary)
I'm also not totally against the 0 point achievements, but they should be for simple stuff. Why have an "achievement" that is valued at nothing? It isn't an "achievement" then.
EA shutting down the servers is the bane of my existence. I won't even buy some of their older games just because of the inability to get the MP achievements.
So what game are you playing next spider??? Lol and we need to work on Dark Sector some more... 6 hours to go!

lol yeah in that pile of games i just pulled out were Hour of Victory and Soldier of Fortune payback, both of which have MP achievements that require you to be in ranked matches with more than 4 people
.EA kinda went in the right direction during the NBA live 08 game (NO MP) but what did they do for 09 (MP achieves)
I still have no Idea I have been sitting in my chair staring at a pile of games and have NO FRIGGIN IDEA what game to play. Yes we do need to do some more Dark Sector some time that and Fracture.

I also have SOF Payback just FYI in case we can round up two more people.
I've had Tales of Vesperia since Christmas and I really want to get back to Infinite Undiscovery, but I KEEP BUYING GAMES and still have 20-25 games on my shelf I have yet to even start, let alone finish. I'm probably going to keep my gaming to a minimum tonight, you know rest up for my big weekend

my biggest problem with online cheevies is how stupid they are.
like you said, the number of players thing. turok had a stupid freakin 16 players achievement or something. i hate that crap.
i just think in general MP achievements are unfair because some people don't have xbl. go ahead and make them hard as hell and challenging, but at least make it POSSIBLE for everyone to get them.

yeah I agree with you Noah and if they made it possible for MP achievements to be obtained on one xbox like the first GRAW, some of the achievements were totally obtainable via splitscreen but then they had those stupid climb to the top of the leaderboard achieves in there.

i just think in general MP achievements are unfair because some people don't have xbl. go ahead and make them hard as hell and challenging, but at least make it POSSIBLE for everyone to get them.
yeah I agree with you Noah and if they made it possible for MP achievements to be obtained on one xbox like the first GRAW, some of the achievements were totally obtainable via splitscreen but then they had those stupid climb to the top of the leaderboard achieves in there.
I think something like climb to the top of the leaderboard should be a 0 point achievement. Most people wont get it but those who do can say they were a master at the game (or got in real early when it was easy to climb to the top
) I just don't like the 0 point achievements....grr

mp achievements are annoying. specially when its a good game that nobody plays (fracture much?) meh....i dont really like MP achieves tho....but i like ones that can be obtained in the story or mp (wether the mp is xbl or lac or split screen) like the fracture weapon achieves, i like those....
