the hurricanes are all wussed out to tropical depressions by the time they make it this far north though. we've only had 2 that were strong in the last 25 years and they were 100 mph + gusts, but not house knocker downers, more like tree and power liner downers.

I live in SoCal myself, but my family and I have taken a trip up to San Fran. It's pretty sweet. We were only there for a day or two, so we didnt get to see a lot of stuff, plus it was cold and raining lol. I guess I can't really help you, but go to the Vistor's center there, and they'll help you
