I second this.
I came for the paint-sniffing with hairy albinos but stayed for the dip!

THE BEST THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS SITE IS THAT IT IS SO COOL TO COME TO DAY AFTER DAY. I BEEN HERE SINCE MARCH 2007, AND THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING COOL TO CHECK OUT.
EVERY SYSTEM SHOULD BE SO LUCKY TO HAVE A SITE SUCH AS THIS CREATED FOR IT.
WONDER WHEN PS3AMERICA OR WiiAMERICA WILL POP UP??? LOL

Yeah, I agree with ya Mayo.
I was very pleasantly surprised by everything I discovered when I first bought that cheap Belkin router and plugged my Xbox into the intertubes.
People complain a lot, very generically I might add, about the immature crap on Xbox Live, but for every 1 actually annoying 12 year old with a potty mouth I've encountered, there has been so many more interesting characters and personalities I've encountered.
It may be because, unlike a lot of people, I don't wait around Gamestop until they open the shipping boxes for Halo 15 or Call of Duty 7 and then run straight home and hop into a Ranked Quick Match and then wonder why there are rude folks yelling. But I do randomly load up games I enjoy and meet some pretty awesome people that also enjoy them.
On top of the rare gems, like the 40-something housewife that could wipe the floor with me in Street Fighter or the Vietnam vet that would cackle psychotically when he got a chainsaw kill in Gears, I have also had the pleasure of running into a ton of folks that, like me, just like to play games, trade jokes and jabs, and talk mad garbage back to the rude n00bs, all the while enjoying themselves. And I still think it's neat to hop in to some obscure title I enjoy at inhuman hours and find myself playing against/alongside folks that are on other parts of this freakin' planet.
The different online extensions of the "Xbox Live community" seem to, for the most part, reflect all of this to me. I think a lot of it has to do with the attitude I and some others go into it with, aiming to have fun rather than impress strangers or provoke anger. The folks that are deathly afraid of young children that will own the crap out of them and then teabag their corpse manage to keep running into that sort of stuff, and that's all they ever talk (read: complain) about, whereas I keep finding interesting chaps & chapettes online.

I enjoy talking to like minded gamers from across the country here. The threads here are great and the admins are really cool to.

Oh, and another thing I like about the forums is Meg. It's rare to find another girl gamer on a FORUM who doesn't make a big thing out of the fact she has tits. I mean SERIOUSLY... look up Vixenita one day on the scorehero forum... she made a thread called Vixenita is HOT... Gag me...
I got excited when I saw my awesome name appear! I know what you mean though, girls suck... besides us of course and i've been the only one on here that's posted for awhile.. other than house m.d. but idk where she went.......
