Am I the only one who noticed that as Isaak (spelling) died, Dexter didn't even bother having him call his bodyguard to let Hannah go or at least give him a heads up that the job was over with and he was going to die? It seemed like a giant plothole that was ignored, like what if Isaak died and what had happened with Hannah and the bodyguard DIDN'T happen and the bodyguard just killed Hannah after not hearing back from Isaak?!? They just made it seem like Dexter magically knew she was fine and in the hospital and Isaak didn't mind that she clubbed his ass, nor did they mention if his bodyguard was dead or not.

I know this is a little late, but no, I don't think it gets any better. I watched almost all of season 2 just waiting, but it's still boring.
I can't really put my finger on why it's not good. I think it's a lack of decent characters, but I'm open to other theories.
