The Exorcist was a total classic. Though I enjoyed the "Version You've Never Seen Before" better. Did you ever see the European trailer for the film? It's found on the VHS version 25th Anniversary edition by Warner Brothers. The casing is a Clamshell as opposed to a slipcover case.

I don't consider it horror but some people do, and it would be Saw.

Well the only films I've seen that are even close to horror are I Am Legend and Disturbia, but neither are very scary. I like I Am Legend more though.

Favorite horror flick of all time: It would have be a toss up between night of the living dead and Glitter starring Mariah Carey (man that gave me nightmares)

Saw was pretty good I couldn't really get into the other ones and I don't believe I've seen past the 3rd. But the first was original and refreshing.

Army of Darkness would have to be my favorite - even though I dont consider it to be horror. Its too darn funny.
Other than that one, don't ask me why, but John Carpenter's Vampires is my next favorite. The first one with James Woods, not the second one with Bon Jovi....

Army of Darkness is alot of fun. The first Carpenter Vampire is way better than the second.

My favorite horror film is also my fav film of all time. Most people haven't seen it but it's a delightful little movie called "Ravenous".
I have never seen this one all the way through it but I remember it was pretty intense.

oh i like this thread! i like the rob zombie films.....i love his style. House of a 1000 corpses is insane if you haven't seen it as is The Devils Rejects.
I enjoyed and own both of the Zombie 1000 & Rejects on DVD and supported them while they were in the theatre. Fine stuff.

It's tough to choose just 1. I'd have to say Army of Darkness as well, but if it doesn't count, then Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning.
Devil's Rejects would be a close second.
Devil's Rejects would be a close second.
When you say the beginning do you mean the remake of TCM or the original.

This is a hard one, but i'd have to say my favorite horror movie is May. I thought it was a pretty unique movie.
I just recently saw this around a year ago and really enjoyed it. Great cameo by James Duval in it!

Hmmm...
The Signal, cause it's damn funny. I like funny horror... mostly cause when I'm scared I giggle hysterically anyway... I laughed my ass off at the Labyrinth when I was little....
Also the first Saw... it was like... oh god what next?!?! in a way that I don't think any of the sequels has been able to recreate.

Funny horror is always great. I never seen the Signal though, who's in it.

I would have to say Ju-On. Ju-On is the japanese version of The Grudge and is way more scarier.
Haven't seen this one yet.

Haven't seen either of this either, sorry.

Are you referring to the original or the remake in 1990. I love the classic and I enjoy the remake as well.

I didn't really get into that flic. I dunno I'm kinda overkilled on zombies lately.. no one will do better than the 28 days films in my opinion, not even the master of zombies Mr. Romero's past few films can keep up.
