Yeah, I found like 60 of them on my own before I got pissed. Which is when I used the guide. But I now have the full 1200/1200 in Fallout. I played through all of "The Pitt" when I got home from work this morning.

I'm just hoping that when they do raise the level cap, they don't add an achievement for reaching level 30. Because then I am going to have to start another new character and go through the game for a 4th time. Somehow, I can see them doing that to keep people playing their game.

just made my 800th fallout 3 save with 97 ingots found without a guide.
holy shit.... i'm burnt lol. i swear, i know that entire area like the back of my hand now. i've been on top of every building, pipe, rail and barb wired fence and those last three are just nowhere to be found. i've come too far to use the guide though, lol. i think i'll just keep save 800 and go back to it once i've finished the pitt's story.

they really should have raised the cap with alaska.
most people are going to use their main characters for these DLCs, and most people probably have them at level 20 by now. you and i do, at least, and while i'm enjoying it, it definitely feels like i'm missing something.

then why would you have to start another new character if they make an achievement for level 30? and yeah, i bet you do know, hahahaha. i gotta' say though, i found some really tough ones! hell, i even found a few great spots on the map that would have been great hiding places they didn't use.

Because my Character that is at level 20 has now completed all but the last two original quests. I doubt that completing broken steel and those two missions would level me up to 30 without a bunch of roaming the wastes killing anything I can find.
The reason why I wouldn't use my neutral character, which is at level 14, is because I don't like the stat/perk choices I made. I was just in it to get that character to level 14 for the achievement. I could use this character. But if I'm gonna take a character to level 30, I want to be able to get the most out of the character and build my stats up right from the start.
I wouldn't mind starting a new character at all. But it does make me wonder, if they do go the route of making a level 30 achievement, will it be one for reaching level 30 with any Karma? Or will it be 3 separate ones like all of the other level achievements?
I guess I will just have to wait and see.
