Fable 2 Pub Games worth it?

To anyone who has purchased and played the Fable 2 Pub Games, would you say they are worth it in terms of actually being fun games in addition to being able to earn some early gold for your game character later?

I am occasionally amused by things like electronic 21 or poker, but I doubt I would buy one for 800msp on XBLA. Being able to 'keep' the gold and actually transfer it to your character seems like a neato gimmick, but would you say it's worth it? I don't remember money being much of a concern in original Fable, I think I only ever found good gear instead of buying it.

I'd say yes, because you not only get to transfer over the money you win, but you can also win 15 different items for your character that look like they will help out a lot early on. Also with the tower of fortune glitch, you earn well over a million in a short time........though there is a lot of speculation that its more of a moral choice (cheat=evil) for your fable 2 character than a glitch.

It would have been better if the gear in the arcade game was actually exclusive stuff that had really awesome stats and took time to unlock. I thought at first that the game was a total was of my point but after I found that Fortunes Tower bet glitch I was hooked. Im glad Ill be able to start a character with some decent armor, my last one fought so much in his early stages that he was really scared up when he was older XD

Also according to the devs, they said money was actually going to be worth something in Fable 2. Possibly by either making everything really expensive or making the gold drops rarer than the original game.

I'm gunna say the games arent that fun but if you really want to earn money and gear before you get the game then i would say yes.

I'm on the fence as to whether this game is worth it. At first I really didn't like it at all, but I told myself to stick with it because it was all for F2. It grew on me a little bit as I started to get the achievements. If you are patient and have a decent strategy, they are definately achieveable.

I guess it all comes down to what you personally think $10 is worth gamewise. I know that I have payed more for worse!

Also, the items and even the gold, are not supposed to set you up for Fable 2 domination. They are supposed to be enough to get your muddy boots in the door. I think that Lionhead achieved that, and my low level starting character will be given a pretty nice advantage, (and a sweet-assed bed!! lol)

hell to the yes.
If you have any strategy in any way, you can make gold extremly fast.
I made 50k in 20 minutes.
