For the past few weeks, I\'ve been trying to beat this song. I am absolutely possessed with beating it. My roommate watches me kill my fingers going up and down the frets, trying to nail that opening riff, which I just can\'t move my fingers fast enough to hit. I\'ve managed to get past the opening riff several times, but usually I\'m so tired that I fall apart in the long solo.
Funny enough, if I go into practice mode, I\'m a lock for 85 percent of the notes hit. The rest of the song goes fairly smooth....it\'s just getting through that opening riff. You\'re supposed to strum that bastard once, then just hit the keys for the rest of the way.
I\'ve seen the videos of people playing this. Some are fast enough to do it with one hand. Others somehow use two hands and do it Van Halen style, which is impressive on a whole different level.
I\'m going to beat this song if it kills me. Normally, I don\'t get worked up about games. I enjoy them, sometimes get a little frustrated, but I haven\'t been locked into something this hard in a long time.
