mass effect was way better then star ocean i played star ocean for over 60 hrs ended up stopping cuzz the story kept gettiing lamer and lamer but on the flipside the gamplay was a little better then mass effect but the satisfaction was better in mass effect

Im on the fence about this one. I dont really like RPG's. (Borderlands, and Fallout are my kinda RPGs). But this doesnt look bad. Its been coming on a lot on the Gamestop Network at my Job. I might get it.....but i know MW2 will have me hung up.....plus i got to get L4D2, Assassins Creed 2, and the God of War: Collection on the 17th....

Too many new game come out this month and don't know what to buy and rent. I may rent Dragon Age: Origins. Save my $$$$ for L4D2, AC2, MW2, and other game forgot name

I too may wait and see about this....as much as I wanted to love Mass Effect, it pissed me off when I got stuck...if the gameplay is decent, maybe down the road some.

Just in case anyone cares....
This game is very good so far, story is great, gameplay is okay, but passable.
HOWEVER
Everyone knew there was day 1 DLC which if you bought the game new you would get (which I got for free since I bought it new) but what is not appears on XBL but is appearing on my personal achievement list on my 360 there are 54 achievements (there are only 50 on XBL) two are secret and two are worth 25 points each one corresponding to each DLC, the free one and the one costing 560. I'm guessing total DLC achievements are 100 points (25 points for for 4 achievements).
Why the hell should I buy a game on day one and not have all the content..... grrr....
