Seems like a legitimate suit and it seems datel should/would win.I mean if you let a third party company make product as the memory card and then lock it out that's not right.However Ms should just pay them off depending on the cost of the suit..............

i see microsoft paying datel an undisclosed amount of money and settling it out of court. Maybe after this microsoft will see that people want bigger storage on memory cards. But that Max Memory card was a godsend and a sin all at once. It was great because you could upgrade the memory to i think it was 16gb but at the same time it made gamesaving much easier because you could remove the little memory card and transfer your saves to your computer. I had thought about getting one because my profile no longer fits on the memory card i own but now i will be forced to buy either the 256mb or 512mb one sometime down the road if i ever want to take my profile to my friends house again

My profile got too big for my original card so I recently purchased one of these. I guess I'll have to start a class action suit against Datel since it was advertised as compatible with Xbox 360. See how this stuff spirals out of control?

Just for giggles, I sent Datel a note about refunding the purchase price for my 2gig card that no longer works. They said to send it in with a copy of my invoice and they would replace it as soon as their new version was available. In the meantime, I've been using this with a 512 meg msd card, which does still work.
If you have one of these, you may want to reach out to Datel and get on the replacement list.

I think Datel should win, not saying they will. Microsoft is like an empire, if they get rid of 3rd party companies then they could jack up the prices of all their stuff and then what are we supposed to do about it? I hope Datel wins because Microsoft needs to wake up and realize that they are assholes

yeah but i still am hoping datel wins...with a monopoly comes jacked up prices and no options but the ones MS has to offer
