Hell yeah, I agree.
I can't wait for the full version, I mean hunting down all the agility points and secret orbs is fun. But it will be even funner when it actually saves the ones you find.

I think the demo was a bit easy and I hope they make it harder. Because wiping out all the Los Muertas in an hour would be weak.

But everything does progress faster in the demo, so I have extremely high hopes that this game will kick complete ass at launch.

After playing this demo for about 5 hours I am really enjoying the game but, there does not seem to be allot of depth to the game. All you do is run around a city crushing stuff :) So I think I will only be buying this game if I do not get selected some other way for the halo3 beta. But just in case I went and put $5 on crackdown to reserve my copy.

also I am just putting $20 a month on my legendary copy of halo3 so I do not think about how much I am spending to get a "cat sized" helmet :) because $100 for a game is just madness!!

I'd have to agree with you Alzapa.
The game seems like a nice big sandbox. But, a good game does require more substance than just running around working on jumping from one building to another and perfecting mid leap lock on kills.

The demo, was hopefully just that. A demo comprizing of the action element and partial story thrown in. Like I said before, I think they made the demo for quick jump in and try what the games ladder system will provide in a longer span of time.

So, I have hope.

Oh and yeah, $100 for a master Chief helmet and three extra disc's.
Better be some great content on those disc's.

After playing the demo I think I would have no problem dropping the $60 to get the game and the Beta. From my understanding, the Demo is "accelerated" to allow you to level up quickly to experience the game.

Check out this interview AceyBongos did with Phil Wilson, Producer of Crackdown to better understand the demo...

Check out this interview that the staff of GamingNexus did with Phil Wilson, producer of Crackdown. This interview is geared more toward the game itself instead of the demo. Excellent read and some things to look forward to..

I'm just going to let this go. It doesn't look that great to me, and I rather just wait for Halo 3 to come out to first play it. I need to save all my pennies for a life size version of that master chief helmet that comes w/ the legendary edition so I can feel just like master chief when I play.

yea....uh... idk what to say to that. I personally really liked the demo and was thinking of getting the game regardless of the H3 beta. What I have also noticed, which is a great idea taken from GoW, was that pretty much all the games planned for 2007 have a Co-op feature that allows people to jump in mid game and play with their friends. I love how this is going to be a new standard for most shooters, as well as many other genres im sure, just because of how much fun i had with GoW single-player and a friend helping me out.

I haven't played the demo yet and I don't think it was out yet when I posted that. I'm considering buying this game now... I should try the demo.

New poll up on this topic.

Oh, and you have to play the online co-op too, it is AMAZING. I just think it would be fun to play it with someone else that i know instead of the rest of the idiots on XBL.
