Controller issues

Okay, so when I play retail games my controller is fine, but when I put in games like Zuma, the joysticks don't want to work the way I want. I can barely pass a level of Zuma because of the wonky controller. Is there a way to fix this? (I've tried re-syncing with the 360, charging up completely, clicking both sticks then swirling them around) Do you think I need a new controller? I hope not...I'm already looking for a new laptop....

it's not your controller, i had the same issue with zuma but i can't remember what made it better cause i haven't played it in so long. try using alternate stick or the lt/rt buttons or the d-pad while rotating. it's something i found when i played this that your shooter will be glitchy if you use just the left stick.
