In what has become a sign of the times in many industries, consolidation is occurring in the Game Development almost monthly. The most recent acquisition was Electronic Arts purchasing VG Holdings, parent company of BioWare Corp and Pandemic Studios per this Wall Street Journal Article.
The deal is the largest in EA's history, and will bring the upcoming games Mass Effect, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, Sabatour and Dragon Age into the EA family.
