I scheduled an appointment with a doc for a routine physical and to look and diagnose my issue.
He thought the diagnosis was Right Sciatica, which the symptoms would be consistent, but he wanted to do X-Rays and see if that was the complete case, not to mention making an appointment with the Orthopedic Spine Doctor.
So we did 5 X-Rays thats day, and he prescribed me Morphine Sulfate and Diazepam. The morphine did not work for pain so I discontinued use, as I do not like Narcotics. The Diazepam helps me sleeps, so I still take that.
Anyways, this morning I get a call from my Doctors office, and they tell me that my Doc believes I have a Compressed Spinal Fracture. After doing research, it has me worried because this symptom is typically given to folks who are twice my age and all. They also told me to make my Spinal appointment ASAP which I already did and I am scheduled to go on the 24th of this Month.
So more history, in January of 2006, I had back surgery in my lower lumbar area of my spine, for two herniated discs. The surgery completely got rid of my problems them, and everything healed correctly. What caused that is spine deterioration.
So I am a nervous person, and am very scared, as I do not want to be put in a wheel chair, or be labled a cripple (not that it is bad or anything) I just do not want it to happen to me. I am only 24 years old and am incapable of doing anything as of now in society.
Anyways, just thought I would share as things are looking awfully grim for me.
