Are the GoW Co-Op achievements only possible online with someone? I can't seem to find out sitting here at work if it is possible to play local co-op with a friend and get them?

Don't mind Marvel, he is a little slow... err checks out his 15,496 gamerscore..mmk, maybe not.
Anyhoot, so am I to read that correctly that I CAN indeed get the co-op achievements OFFLINE as long as my friend has an account set up?
Sounds good to me, it will be much easier to go through everything together that way than finding someone online.
