Jerkuit City was a shit store. When they got rid of commissioned sales, so went any potential help that came from the staff, not to mention the ability to find anything. They simply didnt give a shit about helpoing the customer and it showed in their sales and attitude.

I actually had to rush out and use my gift card just in case they do end up shutting down completely. Thank goodness though my local store was NOT one of the 150+ stores that were closed in this bad deal.
I have worked at both Best Buy and Circ City in my career when I was younger, and I like both for diff reasons. I go to Circ City when they have great game release bonus stuff that come with games, and when I want knowleadgable sales associates.
I go to Best Buy when I want to add to my reward zone points and have coupons to use and want more selection and more stuff to demo.
I'd really hate for Circ City to close though, I love price matching to each other's ads.

I hate CC since they laid off their good people. I went shoppping for a tv this weeked and dealt with the most clueless sales people ever. Give me someone on commission who knows their stuff.
I asked if a TV would accept a blacker than black signal over HDMI and was given the contrast ratio as an answer. Asked which version of HDMI and let him know I was looking for 1.3a, I was told it had 4 HDMI inputs. Grrrr

Yes, the memories I have of Circuit City involve many sales persons standing together in a group, completely ignoring me and not offering any help. The few times I do get a customer service representative that is willing to do more than stand around with a thumb up their ass, I know ten times more than him, and I don't even really read up on this crap that much. I will look forward to all the great store closing deals, though
