I agree that the railguns in Quake rock hard. I love any game where you can use chainsaws.
The 8ball rocket launcher from Unreal Tournament is sweet because it has so much functionality, you can fire 1-3 in a row or spiral, plus you can dumb-fire them as grenades, really effin cool. I've always liked flak guns as well.
