Bass Pedal Broke :(

Well I noticed a crack in my Rock Band bass pedal the other day, and I didn't think anything of it. I kept on playing it and the next day it snapped in half during Take These Chains.

Now I guess the real reason I'm making this blog is because I am getting a little tired of all my stuff breaking. My first X-Plorer broke, and now the new one is starting to break too. My Les Paul broke pretty fast, I manually fixed it, and it broke again about a week later. My main pads for RB broke, the blue pad just stopped working. So I get new pads and my bass pedal breaks. Not to mention that the 360 gets the RROD every 6 months, so I have to fix that. I'm just getting a little sick of all the stuff breaking. Microsoft and the Music Game companies need to step it up in their designs for their instruments. I mean seriously, whose idea was it to make a PLASTIC BASS PEDAL? It's fucking common sense.

So I plan to order the Destroyer Pedal, but I'm really short on money. So I guess it will have to wait.

sorry to here that. I went ahead and bought a spare on ebay. Is there a website you can buy from direct?

Sorry to hear that. If you just want to fix it and not get a new one i guess this option works pretty well. I actually did this with mine right away, so it wouldnt put that much pressure in the middle.

By the way my mom doesn't know I went over to her house and stole 2 butter knives. lol

That looks good. My dad was going to do some elaborate scheme with pieces of wood, but that looks better.

lol yeah it feels much better than compared to not having the knives behind it definitely doesnt bend anymore

Hey! Best Buy has this little packet for $20 that gives you a new height adjustable pedal, drum silencers, and new carbon sticks. The sticks give a little too much bounce for me but the pads work great and the pedal is pretty sturdy for more plastic. Just figured I would try and I help out. I broke my pedal a few weeks ago and I found that package (Block Head is the Manufacturer) and everything became better because now I don't have to go looking on ebay or buy a $70 one thats is made of metal! Right now I have a friend of mine working on fixing my old pedal and than I am gonna buy an adapter that allows two pedals to be used at once! Kick ass! Hope that this was helpful.

Well I take that back. I still love you, but I'm not going to buy the kit you talked about. This is because I kinds fixed the pedal with the trick with the butter knives (except I used pieces of metal), and it should hold until I but the Destroyer. Which should be soon because I'm selling my Wii on eBay. If anyone wants a Wii by the way...please bid away.
