Avatars?

Many forums let you upload an image to use as your avatar. The avatar appears alongside all of your posts. Xbox America initially had avatars, but I got rid of them because I figured gamercards were enough customization. I want to get everyone's feedback on them. Would like to see them above your gamercards? In replace of the gamercards? As the background of a gamercard?

shirnk gamer card by 50% and
drop recent games with an avatar
have a full gamercard in their profile though

or
have avatar functionality
the default as just their gamercard

thats not a bad idea.
shrink the gamer card by 50% and removie recent games.
we dont really need that up.

love the avatar idea by the way.

What about having set dimensions for avatars and creating the gamercards out of the uploaded avatars?

y dont u try changing the gamercards all together and give us something new.

and ya making gamercards out of avatars, that could either turn out really well or really bad.

It would be really nice to have other images besides the avatar, maybe we could have gamercard backgrounds or something more colorful

If the people want it then thats fine but I think it would just add clutter to the whole system we've had going on. We have the ability to upload photos in our profiles and the main one we use in there could technically be called our "avatar". It's up to you guys and Boobie though.

*Wonders if saying/typing Boobie will ever get old lol*

Since most of us put the XBA gamercard or bar in our sigs anyway, I think avatars would be neat.

Or at least put the XBA state-ranking thingy where the regular gamercard is now so we could put whatever other junk in our sigs
