Your friend is either a reckless exaggerator or a flat-out liar. It would take a bare minimum of 5 hours your first time through Limbo if you managed to figure out every puzzle first try and had unnaturally good reflexes, but that's still ignoring the 10 Achievement eggs and the 8+ secret eggs.
But no, it isn't worth buying for an avatar t-shirt and pet. You could find a regular avatar marketplace t-shirt you like for $1-3, and whatever pet prop you wanted for $3-5.

The good reverend Malice said it took her 2 hours. She said it was good, but not worth the points.
Well im glad to hera this i really wanted to get this game but not for 1200 points. I guess I will just wait for it to become deal of the week.

You believe the good reverend Malice?................

Chiiiii-rist. Honestly, I believe it. Reverend Malice is pretty l337.
Still, completing it for the first time in 2 hours is pretty freaking good, considering that current zero-death speed runs from the top vets are just over the 40 minute mark.
It really is an awesome game, but $15 is a bitch much. The small Danish studio is lucky they got so much press coverage and really good critic responses otherwise this would be sitting on the digital shelves until it went 50% off.
