Beat the game my 1st playthrough in 6 hours.

Now I'm currently going through for the minimalist achievement, I am at 11% items and at the part where you are free to collect the upgrades for the omega armor suit, I'm lvl 21 so I can see how the level 50 achievement might take awhile haha, but by the time I playthrough it for the 100% items it should be no problem.

Damn this game rocks.

I got a little bit of the demo in and it was really fun. I'm not sure if I wanna buy it

The achievement "Serious Complex" is an in game achievement that is worth 10 gamerscore. There are "in-game" achievements called Master Challenges that do not reward gamerscore and are there as an added bonus for playing the game multiple times.

oh my bad i was mistaken. jut wondering since i have beaten the game but not gone back to it. when i start a new game will i keep my stats and just lose my guns and armor?

You keep your level, and if you are level 20 or higher then the whole map will be explored when you start a new game.

I recommend being at least level 20 before starting a 'minimalist' game, so you can avoid the Question-Marked Rooms with Items in them.

oh i should be 20 y hen since i reloaded my last save so i can go and collect EVERYTHING. for the completionist achievement. plus the fact that i think im 17 or 18 now

I got to level 18 on my first playthrough, getting about 60% items and taking 6 hours.

Im nearly done with minimalist playthrough and will be lucky to get to level 25.

I just found the hidden ending in the game.

'Status Update: Single' is the in-game name for it. I realized how to get the ending in less than an hour after starting a new game, when I saw the cutscene I couldn't stop laughing...

Anyone else notice the hidden ending makes the credits have MUCH better music than the normal one?

Anyway... back to working on 100% this game.

tried the demo last night.
it's very cool. very much like a SotN metroid mix as mask described.
not going to buy it right away, but it's on the list.

I love this game, this is by far the is the best arcade game made to this date. After I beat it on hardcore I then tried it on insane and beat it in 3hrs and 40 mins. I suggest if anyone wants an great arcade title check this out.
