Having to platform through all the tricky jumps in the crypts is by far the worst part of the game for me.

Oh and on the second one there are only 2 collection achievements, 1 for 8 statues and 1 for 100 feathers - but the game actually lists how many feathers you have found in each town and even each section of each town, making it a LOT easier than the 400+ collectables in the first game that you have no idea which ones you have collected.

i'm sold! looking forward to getting this in the near future. [/Quote]

you know me, mask! lol.
i think i will too. i don't hate collection achievements outside of rpgs in general, but in rpgs they are RIDICULOUS. i don't think 100 feathers could really be that bad. i still plan on going through the first one at some point though, even though i have to start all over. missed the cutscene button tap cheevo as well as the kingdom flags, even though i used a map and checked them all off.

I actually though those were good. I enjoyed having to jump my way through them.

I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I am currently at 950/1000. I just need the feathers, the achievement for wearing the cape in every city, and sweeping 5 guards at once with a long weapon.

I'm gonna put this in spoilers, this is for all of the people who have all of the glyph's and unlocked the truth video. Just want some opinions. I urge you not to read on unless you have found all 20 glyphs and watched the video because some major spoilers lie ahead.

Ok, so whats taken from the video is that it involves adam and eve. The apple that eve took just happened to be a piece of eden artifact. Which means that the events have been in place since the creation of man? This is where I got confused. I understand the adam and eve with the apple part. But as they were running with the apple, they jumped past what seemed to be a window showing other people who seemed to be making other pieces of eden or some other objects. Then they emerge on the roof of a building that just seems to be a futuristic place. The whole thing is confusing me.

In regards to your spoiler - it is supposed to confuse you. I have a few ideas on the issue but as it was stated in the game by the characters they don't even know what it means. My ideas on the issue are based on the ending of the game and what you find out about the pieces of eden in the last dna sequence.

I'm sure it will be fully explained in Assassin's Creed 3 :D

I'm hoping it gets fully explained in the next one. I had to agree with the characters reaction in the game when they saw it. I've been searching the web and there are a lot of different theories as to what it meant.

On a side note, I finally got the 1000/1000. Finally got the 100 feathers and showed off my new cape.

No, there is no in game map for the feathers. But there are maps on the internet. Also, are you talking about the assassins tombs? or the glyphs? If you are talking about the glyphs, I found most of them to be easy once you figured out the pattern. But towards the last of them I used a guide because they started to get tough.

Some of those tombs were tricky. The only one that slightly annoyed me was the one with the four switches that each activated ways to go.

Also, a tip for anyone that plans to hunt the feathers. You can see how many you have in each area. You can go into the DNA strand and there is a section titled feathers. It tells you how many are in each area and how many you have. I was glad it was there when I only had 98/100 and had no idea where they were.

There is a site called gamesradar.com that has excellent maps for the locations of all the feathers and glyphs. They also have solutions for all the glyphs if you get stuck on one. Very helpful and very detailed maps with all the info you need. Hope it helps anyone that may need it.

Yeah, as long as you feel like hunting down the 100 feathers and 20 glyphs. But like unk said, there are maps and guides for all of those. Other than those, it is pretty easy to 1k.
