You just need your Elite, new hard drive, old hard drive, transfer cable, transfer disc.

As far as I know, the "only once" rule applies to moving the data from a small HDD to a larger one, not the kit itself.

The manual tells you to discard it but, to my knowledge, people have been trading these for a long time for these very reasons.



I've had several people use mine. The one time only thing just means that once you transfer your stuff from the 20 gig to the 120 gig, you can't decide you don't need the 120 gig hd and try to transfer it back from the 120 to the 20. The drive you are transferring to has to be larger than the one you currently have. So if you know anyone else that wants to transfer from a 20 to a 60 or 120, then they can use it as well.

Hey guys, sorry to resurrect a dead thread, I just didn't want to create yet ANOTHER transfer kit thread, but I was wondering if anyone had one they could let me have or lend me?

If not, could you tell me if this is what I'm looking for? The cable looks fine, it's just the cd looks like a burnt copy, which I'm slightly worried about.
