Anyone getting the COD Console Bundle?

Just curious how many folks are falling for the M$ ploy to get us to fork out the dough to buy another console?

*raises hand sheepishly*

I have an arcade and I have been wanting to upgrade to an elite with the 120 hard drive. When the 250 was offered, the 2 controllers (mine are thrashed!), the headset, AND the game....I couldn't refuse.

I do feel a little guilty tho. Man I spend WAY too much money on gaming!

I say dont feel guilty man. There's alot worse things you could spend your money on and if you wanted to upgrade your hard drive and need controllers anyway then it does't seem like a waste to me. That said I'm not getting it only because its not in the budget.

why feel guilty?? 250 gigs, the game and two wireless controllers. that's a win right thur.
if only it came with a black wireless headset. that would be awesome.

I think im good with a 120gb HDD for now, i dont think ill ever need 250gb but if there is a good deal one day i will probably get just the hard drive

Dont feel bad about spending a whole bunch of money on gaming! Id say since the 360 first came out...i have spent well over 5 or 6 thousand dollars worth of gaming stuff. Of course it wasnt just for my 360, i game on PC, PS3, and Wii as well.

Yeah, that's what hooked me. A 120 hard drive is over a hundred bucks, by itself. I've been looking at them since that stupid MS only storage announcement thing they did. Plus the game is another 60...and two controllers is another 120. That's 280 bucks right there. Which means I'm getting an elite for $219.

I could actually sell my arcade, which I've thought about, but I think I'll keep it around in case the elite red rings.

I've just been really curious about how many of these things they are selling.

Especially with the recession going on...that's why I feel guilty really. I work very hard and deserve my toys...but I feel like I should be saving this money for a rainy day. Oh well, it's a done deal now.

Sadly they're not planning on offering a 250gb hard drive separately

I've got it pre-ordered and paid off. I can't wait.

Don't feel bad about it though. The way I look at it. A lot of people spend their money on drugs and other bad items. I spend mine on video games, things that are legal and keep me out of trouble. Video Games = good, drugs = bad.
