Shit, when it comes to X- I think we can just start making up new band names that start with X cause it's reasonable to think we've gone through every artist under it. Whatta ya say?
Continuing band name game:

Yeah, I've been wondering what to do about the letter 'x'. Many times I've seen people use bands that have already been posted... I'm cool with that. If you'd like to make up new names, I'm cool with that too. Might actually be interesting to see what people come up with.

C'mon guys, you're missing out on the spirit of the game!
When you feel, "WTF is that, that's not a band name," then do a quick Wikipedia look-up. You might be pleasantly surprised by the engaging stuff ya find--I've been!
I went back and read through the list and I noticed I used NIN when someone else had the time before
but overall it is an awesome list of terrific bands, and eclectic too: Jurassic 5 next to Korn next to:
Age of Silence - imagine classical music played metal style--like, all-out, odd but correct time signatures, interesting scale derivations
