Crackdown was a better game than I taught it would be for a GTA clone. By far its one of the best out of the gate.

Totally, I thought the demo was better than GTA but... that's my opinion. So thanks.

Crackdown was fun, but I was disappointed with the storyline. Basically, there is no storyline. It's just a bunch of bosses you need to knock off. The game play is a lot of fun though.

I would have to agree with Pasta on that subject. The story line could have had a little more meat to it. It was almost ALMOST like playing state of emergency (but not that bad) from rock star only crack down was way better

agree on all counts
basically, if you like the GTA-inspired, sandbox-type play with the additional perks of above-average physicality and hunting down glowing green orbs when you're not doing anything else, Crackdown has some good fun in store
i never got a chance to play it co-op but everyone i've heard comment on it said it's great, and the style of gameplay seems well-suited to it

Storylines aren't the biggest thing in the world. As long as the game is fun.

I hear ya. It certainly isn't in the storyline for Hockey and I to go Car Surfing and Citizen hunting like we did earlier last year Nothing is more fun than pegging people while whizzing buy on the top of a moving vehicle...

I enjoyed it for the amount of time I had it........but I would definitly play it again. I never played online with it, but thats because I was so engulfed in the single player campaign.

Just to clarify, I loved Crackdown. Like I said, the gameplay is a lot of fun. I just think it could really have benefited from a more robust storyline.

Great game - tons of fun, and the add on downloadable content rules.
