Achievement Trading?

Hey, I haven't noticed a thread like this anywhere, but if there is please forgive me. I figured there could be thread where anyone who wanted to trade any multiplayer achievements could post. It's a lot easier and less time consuming when you're doing it with a buddy, at least in my opinion.

What exactly is this achievement trading of which you speak?

Probably playing multi-player games witha bussy where you each let the other rack up kills, headshots, deaths, etc in order to unlock achievements. An example would be Table Tennis, where you need 5 consecutive victories.

I can help you out, I actually need the last 2 Dom achievements anyway. Just message me. I'm usually on during the weekend the most, but you might catch me on at night during the week.
I could use some help getting achievements in F.E.A.R., Prey, LOTR...oh, and Saint's Row, though I can't think of the multiplayer achievements in Saint's Row right now. I don't think I've ever even played the multiplayer in Saint's Row.

Yea boosting in games really saves time and the developers shouldn't make achievements where the gamer is forced to boost or it is unattainable.

I agree. Personally, I really like achievements like Call of Duty 2's. Beating it on veteran was by no means, easy, so you earned your achievements. It wasn't specific annoying things like 100 headshots or something. I don't like achievements like that.

Uh, forgive my ignorance, but what is 'boosting'?

Boosting a Gamerscore is essentially earning achievements in ways other than just playing the game to earn them. One way in multi-player is to play with a buddy and take turns earning an achievement by winning five ping pong matches in a row, or allowing yourself to get raped in Mortal Kombat a bunch of times in a row. In other words, your buddy is throwing the matches to allow you to get the achievement easier.
Another way was by swapping game saves. Not sure exactly how this worked, but someone that had completed Call of Duty 2, and saved along the way, could provide the saved game files to someone who could then use the files to unlock achievements.
The last way is to allow someone to recover your Gamertag on their 360 to somehow get your Achievements in their name. Again, not sure how it is done (and NEVER let someone else have access to your info), but they do. Supposedly, the Fall dash update put a lid on a couple of these methods (game saves), but not 100% sure.

Zoboa is indeed right on all of those. Its basicly showing how patient you can be on the achievements. Like 1,000 headshots in PDZ. Took me forever but im a patient gamer.
