i was wondering if anyone has a modded 360 and how are you doin with it? any problems? how do you burn your games? i just got one of my spare systems modded and cant figure it out for the life of me...post up

Yes, your console ID is banned from Xbox Live if it is determined you have a modded console; while Microsoft isn't looking for it as actively as they did with the last gen Xbox right now, they will begin to search harder as the console's life goes on.
With a little googling, you should be able to find your answer. I believe legal red tape and copyright mumbo jumbo prevents us from giving you a real answer. I mean, don't get me wrong, I think it would be pretty funny for Boobs to get a cease and desist letter in the mail, but I'm not going to be the cause of it

modded consoles are terrible. if youre going to have it, dont play online. youll just get console bant. id know, happened to me, twice, and i wasnt even the one who modded it.
but uhh....torrents are your way to go for burning games. my dad is on some site, its like torrentleech or something like that. just get BitTorrent to dl the torrents, then find a cd/dvd burning tool to get them on some blank cd's, which can be bought at just about every electronics store (best buy, microcenter, etc)

The risk and capabilites of the console all depend on what sort of modding was done. If you are wanting to just play burned games, then you are going to need to flash your disk drive, assuming that it hasn't already. The risk of being banned depends on what type of drive you have, as some are more easily detectable than others. Awhile back, I thought about flashing my spare 360, but never really got around to it.

funny thing is, they have been playing burned games online for the past 4 months..
they been playing games a week early b4 its release, and never got banned

tbh tho, i think microsoft searches once ever other month, MAYBE every month....i doubt they check all the time...cause i can tell they dont check often...maybe once every 6 months? who knows///
btw if you decide to mod it, be careful. theres this security code thing and if you dont take it off perfect, then you will officially f*** up your 360. my dad says its a real pain to get past...
