either that or the gamer pic will get submitted to MS and they will have to approve it for use... However the latter will involve a lot more work on MS's end.

You can also file a complaint if you see someone with an inappropriate pic. And I agree with chachster, that will probably be the case.

Xbox Vision Camera Dated
September 19 in North America, Europe.
by IGN Staff
May 30, 2006 - In a podcast interview with Aaron Greenberg, Xbox's Group Marketing Manager, it was said that the Xbox 360 camera, called the Xbox Vision, will be releasing on September 19, 2006 in North America and Europe. The podcast was being hosted by Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, Director of Programming for Xbox Live, who regularly updates the community on recent Xbox Live releases, among other things. The Xbox Vision was officially announced by Microsoft at E3 2006.
Camera compatibility is in development for games like Activision's World Series of Poker, which will allow for full face modeling. Other games such as Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas and the already released Xbox Live Arcade game Uno will utilize the technology.

Though previously the Xbox 360 camera was said to release on September 19, 2006 in North America and Europe, Major Nelson today issued a correction on his blog. The North American date will remain September 19, while the date for Europe and Asia, except Japan, is October 2. Release dates for New Zealand, Japan, and Australia are still undetermined.
The previous September 19 date was taken from one of Major Nelson's recent podcasts with Aaron Greenberg, Xbox's Group Marketing Manager

I believe in major's podcast they stated that the pictures would be dependant on the family settings on the 360. I don't remember the whole thing, but it is available from major's podcast
