Hello Xbox America!

I thought it'd be fun for everyone to share what there most prized gaming possession or possessions are. It can be anything from a very rare/expensive game, a poster with your favorite developers signature, Collector Editions, toys, etc...

I personally have way too many video game related items that I hold dear to my heart but if I were to choose one particular item, it would have to be my Dead Space Ultra Rare Limited Edition.

Only 1000 of these were released and originally cost $150 back in 2008.
Now in 2013 these hard to find gems can run upwards in the $400-$500 range opened and a whopping $700-$800 range sealed.

I absolutely fell in love with the series and since then went Dead Space crazy. I bought and read all the books, watched the movies, bought the action figures and the Collector Editions of 2 and 3 but was never able to afford the Ultra Rare Edition.

Just a few months ago I got a fantastic deal on a sealed minty fresh copy and I didn't have to break my bank for it. Since then it's been a focal point of my game room and my most prized possession.

Please share your most prized. I'm very curious to know what Xbox America has to add. <3

I have two games that were definitely my most expensive items: The Fallout 3 Collector's Edition with the Vault Boy Bobblehead and vintage metal lunchbox; and the Halo 3 Legendary Edition with replica Spartan helmet.

Two very cool Collector's Editions. I believe the Halo 3 Legendary Edition is becoming a rare and expensive item to get your hands on. As for the Fallout CE, the Amazon exclusive Survival Edition is amazing. It includes a super awesome Pip-Boy alarm clock. <3

I have a near mint condition Dragon Warrior 4 NES cartridge with all books, maps, sleeve and box. Just the cart alone sells for about $100. I've seen actual mint sell for over $1000.

I actually have all 4 NES Dragon Warrior games in the boxes, but DW4 is easily the most expensive.

I have tons of valuable rare games (mostly due to my love of obscure JRPGs) but these two rank among my most prized.

The Walking Dead. I got the collectors edition solely for the book. I read it in 2 days. I need the other one now hahaha.

Wow, I'm impressed!

Panzer Dragoon Saga sealed is extremely rare. *wipes drool away* I have some of the rarest Saturn games but am still missing this one.

Some of my babies for the Saturn are Albert Odyssey, Burning Rangers, Shining Force III and Dragon Force. I need that Panzer Dragoon! I will kill for it. Name the person and it shall be done.

Don't tell that to the place where I get my NES games. They have DW3 & 4 for $8.99 each and I haven't gone to get them yet. Luckily I have strategically hidden them in the store so I can find them later.

@ Miss Allen, I'm not easily impressed by "things" but you have soooo much cool stuff it's kinda mind blowing! Do you actually play any of the retro stuff or is it just for looking at?

I'll post a pick of my prized possession when I get home & as usual it will be sarcastic, hilarious & awesome all at once.

I don't have many gaming things worth any money since I'm not much of a collector, but I have other stuff I own that' I hold in pretty high regard.

I worked at a pawn shop for little over a year and was very fortunate to come across some amazing games and game paraphernalia. Also, I frequently check out this awesome flea market in the middle of nowhere. One of the vendors their seems to always have something worth buying and the fact it's located in the sticks, his stuff is always cheap! <3

I have my own game room set up, with a sort of gaming throne just for me. Whenever I buy a game "doesn't matter the system" I always demo it to see if I like. Also there's nothing more relaxing than coming home after a shitty day at work and playing some Castlevania X or any other retro title...well there may be other things better but I'll keep it PG.

Trust me, coming across games that are actually worth anything is becoming extremely hard to do. It's more or less luck now that you'll find anything good at pawn shops, thrift stores, or flea markets. When you do find something, they try to jack the price up tremendously.

my fraternity paddle is prized most prized one, the signatures, work I had to do on it, and just general stories I have related to the people I'm there with, people I went through it with, and stuff they've helped me through since then makes it's my most valuable item.

basketball jersey from freshman + senior years both are pretty special to me, freshman year my original high school close at the end of the year, but we beat some nationally ranked teams and won a tournament (only having 1 loss too lolwut) and my senior year one bc friends I had and the injuries that essentially ruined my junior, senior and college years of playing basketball meh.

yeah I went to a private school, school was also sponsored by Adidas because my first school produced football players and basketball players, and my second school of the ridiculous amount of soccer players we produced to D1 and international teams.

oh and I couldn't live without my cell phone lmao

I have other stuff but I can't remember so fuck it

it's also hilarious because those are really only people I talk and hang out with now, fraternity brothers and kids I played basketball with back in the day.
