I'm going to start this off by just throwing THIS out there. Bongo, you have a LOT of nerve making this post. Not a lot of guts or class, but a lot of nerve.

Just throwin this out there,
It may look like I broke my own rule, but as a common theme in this tournament, nobody even knows half the story, there is way more that was involved in this and every other situation that I handle as the host of this tournament, I did my job all the way through, but was constantly interfered by people who had no clue what they were talking about.
Let's start with this right here. Let's get this clear right off the bat. I don't give a shit about your situation. It doesn't have anything to do with this tournament. Everyone in this competition has had to deal with adversity or take their medicine because of it.
Bongo, it doesn't "look" like you broke a rule, as though it's someones opinion. You flat out broke a rule. You did. I don't even see how you can honestly attempt to refute this. YOU made a rule, and then YOU ignored it when it suited your situation. It does not matter whatsoever whether or not anyone else understands your situation. The problem is that YOU understand your situation and that seems to be enough for you to rationalize being a cheater. Then for some reason when people call you out on it, here comes Junior calling people stupid and being a complete asshole on your behalf. I'm so tired of being treated like I'm an asshole because I won't allow anyone to walk all over me.

Lastly, a rule has NEVER been bent nor changed in my favor or anyone elses. If I did play favorites, only 1.5 of the teams still left in would be competing.
You should NOT have included this at all. This is the part that I absolutely cannot let you get away with posting without commenting on.
Never? NEVER in capitals?? Really? Now you're a cheater AND a liar.
First of all, you tried to switch AJ to another team to save him from being disqualified when you found out that his partner had gamesaved. Does that ring a bell? Are you not counting that because AJ stepped up and did the right thing because that would have thrown another innocent competitor under the bus? For all of the shit AJ catches on this site, he did the right thing when it came down to it.
That's the first time I remember losing confidence in you as a fair host for this competition.
I could go on, but that's actually not why I'm here.

So, everyone can keep on telling the story how they see it, but in the end its all fiction, only I know how this tournament started, how it will end, and how everything in between came about.
And this... this is barely coherent. What story? What's all fiction? And what the hell are you talking about with that how it started and how it will end trash? I'm guessing you're making an attempt at a grandiose and dramatic ending, but it just sounds to me like you need to sober up before you type.
You should've just taken your strike. You broke a very clear rule that had very clear consequences. You didn't, fine, but don't come in here all self-righteous and act like you can defend what happened by trying to speak this cryptic gibberish about what we know and don't know. It's bullshit and I'm not an idiot.
This brings me to why I ACTUALLY am posting in here. After much deliberation, Melissa and I have decided to bow out of this tournament. We have never been playing for a prize, so it's not fair to the other two teams to stay in for nothing but bragging rights and maybe a site award that my wife wouldn't even get.
We got to a point in this tournament where we are proud of who we finished ahead of and feel no shame in finishing behind the remaining teams.
Like everyone else has expressed, it is just not fun anymore. It was fun for about 3/4 of the year, but that fun has expired. This last week's poor sportsmanship was really the final straw for me personally and Melissa hasn't had fun in weeks. Also we have more family coming to town and there really isn't much chance to keep this torrid pace anyway.
I want to wish the best of luck to all four final competitors. You are all worthy adversaries! I also want to show my appreciation to all of the other competitors who have come and gone throughout! In spite of how bad I have been told my attitude is, I really enjoyed this competition for the most part!
Since Bongo has said before that he won't just give out two strikes in a row, Melissa will be getting offline achievements, so that should automatically give us the strike for this week and next.
...since we aren't Bongo, that is.
