I can agree with what bongo did in giving them the strike. But if this were any other team, I think they would have gotten dq'd. I think that team should feel lucky. Anyways, let's all enjoy this week off!

It was a tough week though, need the week off Playing offline and then signing onto live would give him those quick 1500 points if he got it all before coming onto live. That's my problem right now, he very well could have done that which would be okay even though I would have liked to know that he was going to be offline for 1500 points. It makes my updates inaccurate and useless which put Silent Taker in for a strike last time. The main problem is when the points were acquired. As soon as we get an idea of that, I can give a sure strike.
So now here is the chance to disconnect our xboxs from live for the week, gain a ton of points. Tell bongo we are playing offline the week we are back to playing in the comp and sign on that Sunday and have a shit ton of points. Hmmmmmmmm

I thought it was previously stated that a large number of offline achievements acquired in a short period or anything suspicious would result in either a strike or a DQ, since there's no real way Brit can 'prove' when any of them were acquired I think the strike should just go to them so any other drama is avoided, anyone can make up a lie of when they were acquired...
If it was 20 points or something in the first few months of the tournament then it wouldn't be a big deal...we're down to the LAST 6 teams and he pulls 1500 offline achieves out of his ass...YEA, don't think that should fly without a strike.

D'Qed for what? playing offline?? i was on and off xbox live for the early part of the week so NO score was saved from last week, i then went to my friends house and played offline, i was under no understanding that i had to report that i would be playing offline, and as of bongos post he said offline is good to go so i signed back into live when i got home around 10:20pm sunday, therefore registering my 1525 points from alone in the dark, nfl tour, some nba live 10 and then beginning of enchanted arms.

Well, regardless, when 1500 points spring up at the end of the night from all offline achievements and we're down to 6 teams and multiple people notice it and ask questions, obviously it's going to turn into an investigation/argument...especially when the said 1500 points decide if one team stays in the competition or not. If I or anyone else played offline for an entire week out of nowhere then spring a ton of points on last minute people are going to ask questions and look into it regardless of who it involves.

Thanks Aj that reminds me, got a nice picture off my dashboard that says i played nfl tour on 09/12/2011, thats monday, so if i had gotten any points before that from the previous week they would have been logged then. the only reason i have nfl tour last played as the 12th is because i had my xbox on all night into the monday, then i didnt play anything more. so who would like to see my PROOF??

understandable circus, but as bongo stated, these will be investigated, as is happening right now. i went off of the fact that bongos post stated offline achievements are legal but subject to question, not an automatic d'q as people are stating above.

I can play any game offline on a certain date and pop all kinds of achievements. I can change dates while offline on the console. Not to mention put the game in my xbox 3 days later or whatever while offline with the current date to have the last played tagged on that certain date. So many ways to alter things.
