For those of you sports fans on the site I figured I'd make a thread to talk about the playoffs this year.
First of all before I start I'd like to say how amazed I am by the Dolphins this year! They have been my team for about 16 years now (since I was 6) and I am stoked they are doing so well. I mean really if someone would have told you last year that the Dolphins who were 1-13 this time last year would be in first place in the AFC East this year. You would not have believed them. That's like me telling you the Lions will be in First place this time next year.
Ok now my Super Bowl Pick as for right now is the Steelers, they are simply unstoppable in December-January. As much as I hate Big Ben he is a great quarterback.
Now for the Division roundup:
AFC North
Steelers will win the division, and are my pick to win it all, but the Ravens aren't making it easy they are one game out. The Steelers Ravens matchup this week will be very interesting to watch even though the Steelers have the tiebreaker. The Ravens will more than likely get a wildcard Spot. The Browns and Bengals are the Browns and the Bengals... Nuff said.
AFC East
We have a 3 way tie on top of the AFC East! I like the Dolphins to win the division for obvious reasons, but the Dolphins vs Jets match at the end of the year could be huge. The Bills started off great than just fell off, they are out.
AFC West
Broncos can clinch this weekend with a win or a San Diego loss. Which will happen. All in all this division is very lackluster. My Super Bowl pick at the Begining of the year was the Chargers and they have been a huge disapointment to say the least.
AFC South
Titans already clinched the division and are now playing for the Bye in the first round. Which they will get, they are a big surprise this year and they deserve their spot. The Colts came out of nowhere this year too, they started off horrible and now they are playing like... well they're playing like the Colts. They will more than likely grab the other AFC Wildcard.
NFC North
Bears or Vikes, Bears or Vikes, who knows. My pick has actually changed to the Vikings to win this Division. The Bears are simply not playing like a Playoff caliber team right now. But the Vikings have to do something about Tavares Jackson, seriously. Hand the ball off to AP more come on guys. Let's see some history Lions, be the first 0-16 team in NFL History!
NFC East
Great Division! The Giants already clinched, but the interesting story here is the fight for the Wildcard spot between the Eagles and the Cowboys, and I'm not including the Redskins for a reason. I think the Eagles will get it simply because T.O. is starting to cause drama in Dallas which could screw them over. Oh and a note to McNabb there are no ties in the playoffs.
NFC West
Worst division in the league. Cardinals have clinched, that's about it.
NFC South
The Panthers are looking good and with a win and a Tampa Bay loss they can clinch. I think the Buccaneers will get the other NFC wildcard spot unless the Falcons can beat them and then win out. Tampa Bay still owns the Tiebreaker so they are my pick for the Wildcard.
