I really like the new update. The brightness is actually good with me, and I like the new sounds, etc.

Thanks to the update now arcade games freeze with ease!!! Before the update I had to wait days before an arcade game would freeze, now I don't have to wait at all!
This update really was worthless/terrible. Can't play any arcade games for more than 20 minutes without having to shut my xbox off to get it working again.

Honestly though, I think we should have the option to choose between different types of themes, like how the previous one was laid out or one like this, and others. I know Microsoft could do something like this, buuuut, don't see it happening.

The graphic designers who created this layout (if they even bothered to consult any) should have been able to have made a much more appealing menu. I'm a graphic designer and even first year intro to graphic design could have told Microsoft that the layout, color scheme, and font are horrendous. Don't get me wrong. I'm all for change. But this layout was poorly thought out and very poorly executed.

When my 360 first started up after the update I saw all the white and I think I went blind for about ten minutes!

I do like the new UI sounds, and I like that they changed the avatar proportions. I also really like that they added panes for Acct Management including points count and you can now view all your completions instead of just seeing the most recent few. Being able to search in videos is nice.
Everything else I hate. I hope they do another dash update before Christmas or at least enable some options.

I like it! I'm happy about being able to look at the entire list of completed games instead of the last 12.

Personally I like it a bit. The box shaped slides allow me to see more, of course its more also because of shrinking of thing. Advanced avatar gamerpic sucks cuz u can't zoom out far enough for u to get your props in, but i like the backgrounds, but taking the pic is better on the website. Haven't had a chance to usethe new chat or many others things but I say 3.5/5
