What does everyone here think of it? I personally think the white color scheme is a little bright, but I love ESPN and needed the netflix search. Also, the voices sound kinda robot-y now.

Heh, the other thread was kinda where everyone talked about this, but now I guess it can do. Espn isn't that nice imo since they don't have MMA (wtf!) and that all the MLB/NBA/NFL games they have are ones they aired earlier. 
But Espn is free, which is all that matters.
But its good that the voices in Party chat are more clear, it can get annoying trying to listen to your friends when their lagging every two seconds. -_-

I do wish we had some options for the colour scheme.
Also, none of the avatar items I bought or won are loading up right--I can't actually select them in the dressing area. I was able to pick one of the outfits I had saved earlier that had my GH gear, but my Akuma outfit was also missing.
Some of the stuff on the dash seems faster but some also seems slower. Overall, I don't have any real complaints, but I do wish they would use screen real estate better. Everything is so huge and kiddie-fied.

I agree with Snapple. It slowed down the loading on everything, it is almost 2x to 3x slower. I do not like the new core menu. It looks like an elementary graphic designer created it, the last one was much better. The search functions (which they claimed to have made "more user friendly") load much slower and seem more difficult to use. The voices in parties and chat seems a bit better but not good enough to compensate for the downfalls of the update. I'm also having the same problem as Texas where my avatar awards will not load correctly even when I've tried countless times to load them. This update would be much better if they: Made the core section with customizable color themes (this wouldn't cost much memory considering the lack of design in the core menu already) or gave us the option of going back to the old design (much like Yahoo! mail does). I personally think this update was a waste of memory and time and should have been optional.

i dont see why they needed to fuckin change EVERYTHING DAM THING just for kinect...i mean i get the whole 'oh hey the old dashboard isnt compatible w/ kinect, we need to make some changes' but i mean...seriously? they didnt need to fucking change EVERYTHING!!! or manda the dam update...tbh i think if they wanted a "kinect compatible dashboard" it shoulda been something that came when you got your dam kinect -.- not all of us are getting a kinect microsoft! fuck you!

wow... i just found out that they fucked up my account and revoked my years worth of gold membership, which my friend bought for me as a gift 2 days ago! They claim that this is all due to the update and that it is doing this to a lot of people. Fuck you Microsoft. Makes me want to just play offline and not have to deal with these ridiculous updates. Not only have they not refunded my friends money but he bought the gold membership at a discount which i'm sure they aren't going to give back to us when it gets up and running again. Yet again Fuck you Microsoft and your unnecessary updates that fuck everything up.

I liked how the slides on the old dashboard were staggered backward so I could see something on the 5th or 6th slide. I can't do that anymore. Yep, just sucks. Looks plain, loads slower, has issues.

Yup, the update was worthless, made one of my friends not be able to download an update for New Vegas... Also doesn't let you send messages over live half the time...

I like the change (not so much because i actually like it, but because its different than before). I really love the Zunepass support.
