I only just found out about the Xbox Live parties not being compatible between One and the 360... :/ Guess my friends will miss me until they get one lol. Which is probably one of the reasons for making it "incompatible sound technology", as they say, is for people to get lonely and succumb to buying a One...

I took off the 22nd from work so I can go to the midnight release and spend a 3 day weekend playing the 1! Pretty excited.

Turns out he ended up getting console banned because of it.
Here's Microsoft's response about it:
"He did buy a product, a product not released until the 22nd. The product was delivered in error, but that doesn't change the fact it's an unreleased product and most likely classified as a beta product. Microsoft reserves the right to suspend/ban that console under the TOS.
That being said, I was ambivalent about the leaks we saw today. Leaks are seldom good for the development team, even if they are positive. It represents thousands of hours of work that may or may not be in an unfinished state. All it takes is one instance of something that was mis-communicated or misconstrued, throw that through the internet media machine and you've got a disaster.
On the flip side, it was quite refreshing and encouraging to see everything we've done received so well. It was a little emotional for me when I saw numerous approving responses to Marc and Yusif's demo yesterday morning. I think many of us on the team sometimes forget to take a step back and see the product work as a whole because when you work on the console, all you see are the features that still need work and the bugs that need fixing. At least this was the case for the past 6 months or so.
Personally, I hope it's only a temporary suspension until launch day."

That's fucin bullshit, the dude did nothing wrong. He paid for the product & target was the one that fuced up....this dude didn't sign any beta disclosure so why the fuc should he be punished for posting pics of it
Well that may be, but if he knew the release date like many of the gamers around the world do and he got his like 2 weeks early, that shouldve in my mind threw up a red flag right there, but a console ban is a tad much but not much you can do about it, like the response said, it hopes it's only a temp ban til launch day.
On another note...was on facebook and saw someone post a link about the XB1 that I found rather interesting, so...here's the link http://penny-arcade.com/report/article/microsoft-engineer-confirms-that-the-xbox-one-will-be-able-to-drive-the-pla

Does anyone know if Quantum Break is supposed to be a launch title? I haven't heard anything about it in a while.

From what I've found, it's not suppose to come out until 2014. At least according to their Facebook page.
"TBC 2014"
https://www.facebook.com/QuantumBreak
I've searched everywhere and that's all I can find.

Alright thanks man, from the way they announced it at E3 I thought they were making it a launch title. Game looks interesting, like a hybrid movie/game which could be cool.

Haven't been reading much up on this lately but is it required to install all the games before you play? If so, our hard drives are gonna be filled up so fast.

Well that's terrible especially with the size of the games 500GB won't mean shit.
