I understand what you're trying to say but it absolutely foolish to judge a game by gameplay footage....the gameplay footage of battlefield 3 looks like nothing more than a COD clone where all you do is run around playing shooty guns but it really has so much more to offer. Also the gameplay for brink looked absolutely spectacular & lead a lot of gamers (including myself) to believe that it would be a great gaming experience but we all know how that ended......nobody watches a minecraft gameplay video and says "THIS GAME LOOKS FUCIN AMAZING, I MUST HAVE IT NOW" because minecraft needs to be played before you see what the game truly has to offer....am I getting thru to you? Or do you need more examples? Cause I can keep going if you have time.

so don't judge a game based on how it look until you play it?
no. most games aren't worth the time or money going into renting or tryin. it before a purchase when they look terrible. BF 3 only looked that way because you assumed it was like cod. gameplay of the mp even before game came out looked nothing like cod.
these games just don't look good, I'm not gonna waste my time trying to see if they can prove me wrong, you get 1 first impression and if its bad enough to turn people away you 90% don't even get a second chance.
also what should you judge a game by if not gameplay footage before a release? if it doesn't even look good in footage THEY supply to make it look as good as possible then there's a very strong possibility it will be terrible.
