I'm gonna get it just because I love Skyrim. Plus, I still have a ton of MS points in my account because a lot of people bought me points for my birthday. Until I had bought Counterstrike, I had over 10,000 MS points in my account. So I'll give this DLC a shot for 400 points.

im probably going to get it but personally it's to late to care about it, a couple months away from a full year of skyrim being out and we have only gotten 1 dlc add-on? this should have been a free add-on in the game 5 or 6 months after the game came out, come on, build a house and have a family? i know 400 points isn't a lot but im just irritated they are charging for something this small that could be free,.

I finally got to see the video. I think it will be a nice little addition to the game, but to defend it is going to be a pain in the bunz. I like to wander and explore a lot. If I have to stick close to home all of the time this DLC is going to kill my enjoyment of this game.

This will be the 2nd, and while I agree, more DLC would have been nice, if there was too much people would complain about being flooded with it!
This may have taken them longer than normal to do, it's more than just adding quests, it seems like... IDK, my hope is that they do DLC every few months until the next elder scrolls game comes out. They basically threw it all out in a lump with Oblivion, and then there was a 6 year period where my soul died more and more until Skyrim came out.

It depends on if they let you build more than one home, which I am assuming you can. If so, my main home will probably be somewhere west of Whiterun. If I can build 2, then I am gonna try to put one on top of the throat of the world.

I was thinking that I would have to build near some sort of population - city or village. I would definitely like to have the city watch around to fend off an attack by giants or other nasty creature that tries to get into my place. But, if I decide not to take a spouse and don't adopt children, then I can build it ANYWHERE!!!
