New Avatars to Coincide with Kinect

News from Gamescom today! Those who think our current Xbox LIVE avatars look goofy currently will be in for a treat as the avatars will receive a makeover sometime between now and when Kinect releases. Hypothetically, this cosmetic treatment will also coincide with the NXE 2.0.
Regardless, the new Avatars are meant to be more gameplay friendly for Kinect games in the chute for release.
The question now is: will our current props and clothing be compatable with the redesign of the Avatars? Or will they go the way of the old themes when NXE came out? Time will only tell.

I am very glad the avatars are getting more realistic proportions, but god help them if the current clothes and props don't work.

Oh, great. Every woman that doesn't really have boobs in real life is going to come into XBLA + give their avatar huge boobs. I don't see this as a great idea.

Screw this if the clothes aren't compatable. No way am I going to spend all the money I did over again in the avatar marketplace. But at least my avatar will be able to look actually more like me.

the only thing that would make this cool, is if the kinect was so awesome that you could make a motion and your avatar would do the motion too.
please microsoft, dont be complete garbage and let this happen!!! if not, then whatever this stupid update is will be rather lame i think

I happen to have quite large boobs, and I would enjoy playing with an accurate depiction of myself, rather than a flat chested little girl body.
According to my wife, it would be great if hers were a bunch smaller than she is now. She is training for a 5K run in October + it would really help. Women that have smaller 'builds' (as she puts it) have no idea.
