Fable III to be official at X10

Lionhead plans to announce Fable III during the Microsoft X10 event next month in, the studio announced on its Facebook page. Peter Molyneux the Lionhead Director has talked about Fable III but hasn't given much details on what the games going to consist of, other than it's going to use Microsofts Project Natal motion camera as well as contain a form of in-game micro-transactions. Fable III is currently slated for a Holiday 2010 Release.

Hopefully if they can't fix the co-op, they drop it. I liked the second one a lot, but co-op really dragged it down. Great idea, poor execution.

I'm still excited nonetheless!

Couldn't agree more. The co-op was such a disappointment. I also hope I don't have to spend so much time being a damn landlord.

no surprise, but wow.
let me guess... it takes place in albion.
you explore the same towns, the same swamps, the same caves.
PLEASE lionhead.... let me play as a 3 year old this time!

i could dress my dolls in a silly fashion and dye my clothes "sunset" gold!

i thought Fable 2 was awesome, it was the first game I actually played begining to end since Half-Life 2. I cant wait for Fable 3!

To be fair, the feature won't be dropped, but hastily thrown together at the last minute!

The way I see it, the first game was fantastic. The second one had great ideas that were not well executed. I think the third one will be the one where it all comes together.

I'm excited!

fable 1 WAS an amazing game.
i didn't really read into all the hype though, so i had no expectations.

i know i bash on fable 2 all the time but it was just such a let down. they literally copied the first one. not just locations, but most of the missions as well. if that wasn't bad enough they took away our ability to assign actions to the d-pad. that was a great feature! wtf lionhead.

not saying i'll never check into fable 3, but i certainly won't be picking it up until i hear what other people think after a couple weeks of play.
