I think anyone purchasing any of the Kinect line-up is in for a huge loss.

Well, let's think about this. Wii sports is $29.99-$49.99 still and it comes with the console, which is a few years old.
How much do you think the Kinect games are going to be? I doubt Microsoft would make it less than a Wii game.

How the fuck are they going to make Goldeneye, but only put it out for the Wii?! THAT Grinds my gears, I know I'm in the wrong section and all...but damn, lol
This statement got me thinking a little. Didn't Microsoft buy rare in 2003 or something? Didn't Rare devolop Goldeneye? Didn't Rare devolop Donkey Kong too?
To be honest I am not sure, I saw the article on yahoo.com and the video that was on it said it was exclusive to the Wii....let me see if I can find it
here it is

btw...anyone notice that someone is going down putting -1 on a lot of things?

Well I hope you're right, Melissa. It also depends on the success at launch. If they sell millions of models then I'm sure they'll start coming out with packs and deals. Anything you can think of.
I suppose only time will tell.

I feel like, if they were smart, they would price this thing as low as possible, $75-100 tops, and eat any losses to have it penetrate the market deeper. Deeper penetration is better.
In my opinion, at $150 it's almost a guaranteed niche item until it just dies out at next console launch, at $100 it has about a 50/50 chance of succeeding, and at less than $100 it will actually catch on pretty big, especially during this coming holiday season.

Some new updates and links posted. And Meta, you are correct; deeper penetration is always better

Yeah I guess, but wat would super smash b without DK. Don't remember if they made goldeneye though.
EDIT: @ Meta isn't the pricing thing wat happened with that double wifi connecter and ultimatly created that new console we'll all love and adore.
