I would buy cowbell hero in a heartbeat. As long as they don't shove it down our throat like guitar hero.

That was a blow to me. I love these games and i don't think they are losing as much money as they say.

Warriors of Rock apparently sold only 100000 (one-hundred-thousand) copies within the first month of its release, across the 360, PS3, and Wii combined. That's so pathetically low, it's almost funny.

Compare that 100,000 first day, to the opening weekend for Gears of War 2.
5,000,000. That's right. 5. Fucking. Million. Over 3 days. Came out on Thursday, sales on Friday/Saturday, stat released on that Sunday, if I'm correct.
Hell, being Gears 2, is probably broke 100k sales at the god damned midnight launch...
100k is EXTREMELY sad for a game in the first day, especially when thats the sale across all 3 consoles it's on.

Rock Band Nation is delivering the goods as far as my being able to video game up some epic evil metal with friends, so goodbye and good riddance.
I truly enjoyed Warriors of Rock and the whole shtick they were going for but it was too little too late to an audience of not enough people. Welcome to the world of the quasi-underground metal scene, yo!
At the end of the day, GH3 and RB3 deliver what you want from guitary video gaming so there's no need to keep sucking blood, milk and urine from a dessicated corpse about as rank as Minioger's shirt laundry.
